Demeter

Physical Product Design

Cyberus Labs project focused on small-batch product creation, 3D printing, retail display design, and local business collaboration.

Overview

A small-batch product system from concept to display.

Demeter is a Cyberus Labs physical product project centered around designing and producing 3D printed donut keychains and a matching retail display. The project combines design, fabrication, product iteration, production planning, and real-world business collaboration.

Challenge

Making the object, the production workflow, and the presentation work together.

Creating a small physical product is more than printing an object. It requires product design, material choices, print settings, hardware sourcing, retail presentation, pricing, production time estimation, and a display that makes the product appealing in a real business environment.

Solution

A complete product workflow for local retail presentation.

Demeter turns the donut keychain idea into a complete small-batch product system. It includes printable product variants, metal keychain hardware, production tracking, display design, pricing considerations, and iteration based on real-world constraints.

My Role

Product concept, print workflow, display direction, and production planning.

Danny designed and produced the product concept, print workflow, retail display direction, and production planning. The work combines 3D printing, product design, small-batch manufacturing, and business thinking.

Impact

Turning a digital design into a real product.

  • Created a physical product ready for local retail presentation.
  • Designed a matching display concept for in-store sales.
  • Connected digital design work with real manufacturing constraints.
  • Built a foundation for future Cyberus Labs physical products.

What It Demonstrates

Design, fabrication, and practical product thinking.

  • Product design.
  • Fabrication.
  • Iterative prototyping.
  • Retail presentation.
  • Production planning.
  • Turning a concept into a real object.
